Typically, we honor one liberation architect across two Sunday Service offerings. For August, each facilitator has selected a liberation architect whose life and work have shaped their own offering. Each gathering will be its own experience, and we hope you’ll join us for both.

This 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐈𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚 invites us into The Word as a Weapon, 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐡𝐥𝐨. Inspired by Kahlo’s revolutionary spirit, we’ll gather for a morning of words, stories, painting, collage, movement, and reflection as 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
